Kennedy's fitness journey began at the age of three as a competitive swimmer. At seventeen, she started her first job as a swim instructor in Houston, Texas, where she discovered the joy of helping others build confidence through movement.

During the pandemic, when pools closed, she turned to Mat Pilates and quickly found a new appreciation for mindful, intentional exercise. After moving to Washington, DC, in 2021, she discovered Reformer Pilates and immediately fell in love with the way it combined strength, mobility, and precision. While working part-time as a studio assistant, she realized she wanted to be the one leading clients through that experience. She began teaching Reformer Pilates in 2023.

After being laid off from her nonprofit research position, Kennedy embraced the opportunity to pursue fitness as a full-time career— a decision that allowed her to turn a lifelong passion into her profession. She completed her Beginner and Intermediate Power Pilates Mat certifications in 2025 and began her Power Pilates Comprehensive training in 2026. She is committed to continually expanding her education to provide clients with safe, effective, and engaging instruction.

Kennedy's philosophy is that movement should help people feel stronger, more capable, and more connected to themselves. She believes movement has the power to change not only how we feel in our bodies, but how we experience everyday life. Her sessions are designed to be both challenging and supportive to build strength, stamina, stability, flexibility, and body awareness. To her, Pilates is about more than exercise— it's about developing a deeper connection between the mind and body, improving mobility, preventing pain and discomfort, and helping clients move with ease and confidence for years to come.

Whether you're new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, Kennedy strives to meet you where you are and help you discover what your body is capable of. She hopes every client leaves each session standing a little taller, feeling a little stronger, and feeling more confident in what their body can do.
